Hello! My name is Lena Sheorey and I am currently a junior at Emory University. I am majoring in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology, with a minor in Spanish. Additionally, I am pursuing medicine as a career, and am in the process of applying to medical schools.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy hiking, petting as many puppies as I can, music, doodling, and all things Van Gogh! I am also an active member of Emory's Chapter of the Association of Chronic Disease Awareness (ACDA) and spend a lot of my time coordinating events that promote awareness of chronic diseases on Emory's campus as well as within the greater-Atlanta area.
This is a website created for Dr. Marc Bousquet's English 363 course at Emory University, as part as the Domain for One's Own Initiative. The syllabus for the course can be found here, and our collaborative class blog can be found here!
Please feel free to browse my project site which concerns the possible inequity in care quality that exists between Alzheimer's Specialty Care Units and generalized elderly care. Also feel free to browse my final project as well!
Hope you enjoy!
